Very clean, bright and cheerful. Owner met us at the door to welcome us. Small, hometown restaurant where literally everyone knew everyone else, except us. We were driving around exploring and saw this place. We decided to take a chance and were very glad we did. Food was delicious and large portions. Breakfast served all day! Parking is tight but enough.

Spotlessly clean, nicely update atmosphere. Friendly service, fantastic hot breakfast and fresh baked goodies. Small but you dont feel like sardines.

Great service! The coffee was hot, and that's great! I enjoyed the fried mush. A nice slice of ham and two big sausage patties. A great breakfast!

Nice little place for breakfast with friends. The food is reasonably priced and there is plenty of it. My food was good but nothing made it stand out better than other. Staff was nice, attentive and helpful. Definitely plan to be back there in a couple of weeks.

If you’re looking for a quaint little restaurant in a small town, this is it. We had the haystack and biscuits and gravy. Food was outstanding and the service was friendly. The restaurant is clean and on the smaller side. A bit of history, the popular restaurant used to be on the top of a hill on the other side of Middlebury. Sadly, it burned down some years back. So it has been reestablished at the bottom of the hill downtown Middlebury.

We had the cod. It was fantastic. I also had potato salad. The peach pie was okay. The filing was really thick. But the cinnamon rolls looked delicious. We absolutely will return!
